1st Annual Craft Master Challenge

Are you the master of a craft? Are you competitive? Join us for the 1st Annual Craft Master Challenge, were you would compete against other local crafters to be crown the Craft Master! See the challenges below, you can sign up for one or all them. Each challenge will have 1 round, semi-final and then the final. The winner of the final will be awarded a trophy and a cash prize. 

When: Saturday, July 8th @Noon to 6pm

Cost: $20 per challenge or $60 for all fours. 

Challenges: 

Sublimate Tumbler: Can you correctly wrap a tumbler and press it in a tumbler press with no ghosting and perfect seam. You will be timed, and this time will be used as a guide for future challenges.

Etching A Glass: Using a vinyl stencil and etching cream to etch the design perfectly on a glass cup with no runoff or bubble spots. You will be timed, and this time will be used as a guide for future challenges.

Press A T-shirt: Using HTV, heat press, and t-shirt. You will weed the HTV design, place it on the t-shirt and press it with it being centered and weeded properly. You will be timed, and this time will be used as a guide for future challenges.

Vinyl Layering: You will weed and layer vinyl on a glass tumbler without bubbles or creases. You will be timed, and this time will be used as a guide for future challenges.

All materials to compete in the challenge will be provided. No outside materials will be allowed to keep things equal. 

We will have judge panel, giving scores for each round until we get the finals. If you advance to the next round, semi-final or final, you need to stay the entirety of the event. We also ask that you promote the event to spectator as well. 

Cancellation Policy: We try very hard not to cancel a class. However, if we do need to cancel a class for inclement weather, instructor emergency, etc., you will be reimbursed for the class fee. In most cases, we will try to reschedule the class for a future date. If you must cancel a class, please let us know. Students that cancel at least 24 hours in advance may apply the class fee to another class or store credit. Cancellations with less than 24 hours notice may forfeit the class fee. In case of emergencies or illness, we will either reimburse your class fee or reschedule your class depending on your needs and situation.
